 It was only last year that the 'baajigar'  Khan was someone about whom the kolkatans won't  tired of praising . It was then when , he bought the Team Kolkata Knight Riders and made our  beloved 'dada' the the captain . Sourav was slowly recovering from his 'bad phase'  and everybody was just full of enthusiasm about the new format and excitement that the game was about to bring .

     I am quite puzzled whether it is just  an election gimmick or such things really happen in my country  but it really made me happy . It is a chain of mails that reached me through a friend . The first email sender wrote about an incident  . Generally we grumble against the system of our govt organisations where red tapism makes hell out of our works related to government . Whenever we are bound to face a govt official we don't know whether our work would be done or not . It mostly depends on that person's character .

Today I had come across the heart-wrenching story of a girl who was a part of an Oscar winning document Born To Brothels , back in 2005 .It was a document on the lives of sex workers . The then teenage girl was invited to share the award along with the director of the document Zana Briski .

  My friend was complaining "yaar delhi was far more better than this place . Yahan to jabardasti ka dosti karna parta hai , whether your mood is good or bad you have to pass on a smile ..."  I nodded affirmatively . She is right . But this was what  appeared to be a plus point of this place to me .

"Dear customer , a loan of Rs. One lac fifty  thousnads is sanctioned against your name .You don't need to submit any document ."  This kind of SMSs often piles  up  at my inbox . Or repeated requests for taking loans against credit cards comes at least thrice a month . Or least should be said about the repeated phone calls made to make us understand the uselessness  of paying credit card bills on time .
