Of all the TV serials I have watched the one I liked best was shown on Janmashtmi, about the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas.
The fierce battle was raging and both the sides seemed equally poised, no one being sure who would win. As per the rules of war, all hostilities ceased every day at sunset, and the battle was resumed the next day.
One day someone from the Kauravas sneaked into the Pandava's camp and set their tent ablaze. Seeing the tent on fire, the Pandavas quickly came out, and there was no casualty. When the Pandavas were angry at this clandestine, unfair and unethical underhand strike by the Kauravas, Lord Krishna spoke:
"Rejoice, for you have won the battle. The victory is yours, that is guaranteed. Because this act shows that the Kauravas have lost their faith and confidence, they are not sure whether they can win. So one who has lost his confidence has already lost the war, and your victory is now sure."
This is God and the secret of all successes - inner strength of mind and trust in self and God!
