Bhajji's fate sealed, BCCI to get report
It's a scandal that sent shockwaves through the cricketing community and fans alike. On Tuesday, all eyes are on one man - BCCI appointed Commissioner Sudhir Nanavati who is slated to submit his report on Bhajji-Sreesanth Slapgate controversy. Nanavati has prepared a 14-page report with ten pages of annexures, which will be handed over to the BCCI disciplinary committee. After Board President Sharad Pawar goes through it, the committee will then decide on the quantum of punishment to be given to the person found guilty.

Warne offers to help Harbhajan
Sympathising with Harbhajan Singh after the slapgate controversy, Australian spin wizard Shane Warne has offered to help the off-spinner in any way he could.
Warne said Harbhajan should be appreciated for the fact that he admitted his mistake of slapping speedster S Sreesanth.

The focus on agriculture
In its latest World Development Report (WDR), the World Bank has made out a strong case for making agriculture the centerpiece of development strategies being pursued by developing countries. This would be critical for achieving the millennium development goal of reducing extreme poverty and hunger by half by 2015. Although the WDR, titled “Agriculture and Development,” does not break substantially new ground, its focus on the rural sector as a means of achieving basic social and economic goals is commendable.
Pathans all the way
Indeed sometimes life does imitate a fairy-tale. About ten summers back, the two Pathan siblings, Irfan and Yusuf, had dreams in their eyes and fire in their belly as they honed their cricketing skills playing together in the lanes near a mosque that was home to their family in Baroda.

IPL - Rookies today, Superstars tomorrow?
